Our results revealed that the reduction in Pard3 expression was significantly correlated with Karnofsky Performance Scale (KPS) score (P = 0.04) and recurrence (P = 0.01, Table 1), which is consistent with KPS as an independent predictor of survival.19 As shown in Table 2, low expression of Pard3 was related to a significantly increased risk of tumor recurrence in glioma patients (P < 0.01) compared to those with high Pard3 expression by univariate Cox regression analyses (Table 2).
