While the single inhibition of Ang-2 led to a modest (if at all) beneficial effect on tumor growth and vascular normalization, which is in line with our results, the dual inhibition of both VEGF-A and Ang-2 proved beneficial for the therapy of CNS [9,10,11] and non-CNS [26,29,54,55,56,57,58,59] tumors. The gene discussed is VEGFA; the disease is neoplasm.
