Likewise, an immunohistochemistry analysis study, aiming to compare the expression of Nanog in patients with CC and cervical dysplasia in 235 patients with various degrees of cervical epithelial lesions, found significantly higher expression of Nanog in CC than in cervical dysplasia and higher in cervical dysplasia than in normal cervical epithelia (Ye et al., 2008). Here, NANOG is linked to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.
