Despite the fact that MS is not an inherited disease, family case clustering of MS is prevalent amongst first-degree relatives who have similarities in their major histocompatibility complex (MHC) such as HLA DR15/DQ6 allele, alleles of interleukin-2 receptor alpha gene ‘IL2RA’ and interleukin-7 receptor alpha gene ‘IL7Rα’ [20]. This evidence concerns the gene IL2RA and myeloid sarcoma.
