Importantly, we demonstrated that co-expression of AMF and GPER-1 induced the two protein complex to redistribute and translocate to the cytoplasm within 5 min post exogenous AMF treatment, strongly suggesting that AMF interacts with GPER-1, and facilitates AMF activity in the cytoplasm via the AMF-GPER-1 complex, thereby promoting tumor progression. The gene discussed is GPER1; the disease is neoplasm.
