To confirm such result at individual gene level, three candidate genes (PTEN, a well-known tumor suppressor and related to longevity; DNMT3A, a known methyltransferase associated with aging and cancer; PIAS1, a repressor of transcription factor STAT1 that related to breast tumorigenesis), which were validated undergoing 3′ UTR shortening in SRSF3-KD cells (Fig. 1I-J, Fig. S4E-F), were visualized with their CLIP-seq and RNA-seq signal in UCSC genome browser.
