The analysis of the osteoclast NFATc1 labeling indices revealed that MRONJ (BP) specimens (median: 57.3%) featured significantly higher indices than OM (median: 0.0%; p < 0.019) and control specimens (median: 0.0%; p < 0.001) (Table 2; Fig. 2d). This evidence concerns the gene NFATC1 and ocular melanoma.
