ER-, PR- or HER2-receptor status of a tumor is established by pathological analysis of tumor tissue by immunohistochemistry (IHC) (ER, PR and HER2) and/or in situ hybridization (ISH) (HER2) [1, 7], which, according to global guidelines, is mandatory for all newly diagnosed primary IBC cases [1, 2, 4, 8–10]. Here, ERBB2 is linked to inflammatory breast carcinoma.
