Further experiments demonstrated that ZEB1-AS1 acted as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) in BLCA by interacting with miR-200b and indirectly upregulating FSCN1. Furthermore, in functional experiments, we found that ZEB1-AS1 decreased cell apoptosis and G0/G1 arrest and induced BLCA cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, thereby exerting a tumor promoting role via the miR-200b/FSCN1 axis. This evidence concerns the gene FSCN1 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
