NR4A1 was identified as an oncogenic driver in pancreatic, renal, lung and colon cancers.28, 29 Several other studies have reported that NR4A1 was a tumour suppressor in lymphoma, triple‐negative breast cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma.32, 33 The expression and nuclear accumulation of NR4A1 confer chemotherapeutic resistance in some types of cancer. The gene discussed is NR4A1; the disease is neoplasm.
