Thus, the fact that while BRCA1- positive tumors have potentially aggressive characteristics to develop triple-negative cancers, BRCA2-positive tumors are more likely to present as luminal type or DCIS, which is reflected in the imaging features of these lesions for our study population, a finding that is consistent with the previous studies [2, 3].
