A CRP-Genetic risk score (z-score) above 0 was also associated with higher hs-CRP: GM, 0.17 vs. 0.11 mg/L; GMR, 1.27, [95%CI: 1.15–1.40], p < 0.01, and likewise for having an infection 14 days prior to blood sampling: GM, 0.22 vs. 0.11 mg/L; GMR, 2.08 [95% CI: 1.70–2.54], p < 0.01. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and infection.
