Particularly, SOCS1 and SOCS3 have been postulated as candidates to regulate the radio and chemoresistance acquisition in other types of cancer, such as prostate cancer [37,38], or cervix cancer[20], but there is a lack of studies regarding the role of SOCS1 and SOCS3 in radiotherapy resistance in GBM. This evidence concerns the gene SOCS1 and glioblastoma.
