CISH and neoplasm: Several biological processes and signaling pathways that it affects have been identified, including tumor stem cell growth; self-renewal, and tumorigenesis [4,26]; RNA metabolism, including mRNA/miRNA/ lncRNA biogenesis, processing and exporting [22]; DNA damage response secondary to radio- or chemotherapy [22,41]; the IL-7/STAT5/SOCS pathways [42]; and the FTO/m6A/MYC/enhancer-binding protein alpha signaling pathway [28].
