The Mann-Whitney Sum test showed that slightly greater tumor size (P = 0.03), elevated lymphatic (P = 0.005) and distant (P < 0.001) metastasis rate, higher pathological grade (P < 0.001), localized tumor number (P < 0.001), and shortened survival months (P < 0.001) were observed in the PAP+ group compared with the PAP- group.
