We also found strong correlation across cell lines between the dependency to PPRC1 and mTOR-inhibitors (temsirolimus, used in the treatment of renal cancer), dual PI3K/mTOR-inhibitors (dactolisib, in clinical trial for advanced solid tumors (Wise-Draper et al., 2017)), YK-4–279 (showing pre-clinical efficacy for Ewing sarcoma (Lamhamedi-Cherradi et al., 2015)) and the chemotherapy agent docetaxel, currently used in the treatment of breast, lung cancer, stomach cancer, head and neck and prostate cancer. Here, PPRC1 is linked to prostate cancer.
