RARB and cervical carcinoma: Negative immunoreactivity for RARβ was seen in 24% cases of CINs and was most common in high grade lesions (CIN III) followed by CIN II and CIN I. A study by Wongwarangkana et al. (2018) also expressed similar view and found that decrease expression of retinoic acid receptor occurs early in the development of cervical carcinoma and has been linked to CINs.
