In human cancer studies, SATB1 is thought to be important in promoting tumor growth and invasion, including breast cancers,3 prostate cancers,4 colorectal cancers,5, 6 or pancreatic cancers.7 Dysregulated SATB1 expression was further linked to the pathogenesis of T‐cell lymphoma.8, 9. This evidence concerns the gene SATB1 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
