A number of published articles reported that HIF1α is a key regulator in inflammation and autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) [50], rheumatoid arthritis (RA) [51,52], type 1 diabetes (T1DM) [53], multiple sclerosis (MS) [54], psoriasis [55], and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) [56].
