We reported a lower expression of SLC25A5‐AS1 in GC, and several biological experiments were performed to verify SLC25A5‐AS1 could suppress GC cell proliferation, cell cycle progression and promote apoptosis by acting as competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNA) in interaction with miR‐19a‐3p through PTEN/PI3K/AKT signalling pathway. Here, SLC25A5 is linked to gastric cancer.
