XIST was the first reported tumour‐associated gene located in X chromosome.27 Previous study showed that XIST knockdown could inhibit GC progression and metastasis through modulating the expression of EZH2.28 It seems that XIST gene is up‐regulated in a variety of non‐sex‐related tumours in both humans and mice.29 In our present study, we found that SLC25A5‐AS1 was significantly decreased in GC tissues and cells. The gene discussed is XIST; the disease is neoplasm.
