To verify whether CXCL5 overexpression or knockdown could regulate CRC growth and tumor angiogenesis in vivo, we used the HCT116-CXCL5, HCT116-Controlvector, SW480-shCXCL5, and SW480-ControlshRNA cells that were constructed in our previous studies to generate a subcutaneous xenotransplanted tumor model in nude mice. Here, CXCL5 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
