LCP1 and breast cancer: Several differentially regulated proteins in HS578T/NOD2 were identified in the Focal adhesion pathway, such as: the anchoring protein AKAP1, also shown to support mTOR-dependent tumor growth in breast cancer cells [111]; the actin-binding protein Plastin-2 (LCP-1) [112]; the actin-filament membrane anchor SVIL, which plays a critical role in tumor invasion [113]; and DAG1, a central component of dystrophin-glycoprotein complex that links the extracellular matrix to the cytoskeleton [114].
