Additionally, GSEA revealed enrichment of the DNA replication pathway, which includes several upregulated members of the MCM (mini-chromosome maintenance proteins) family of proteins (e.g. MCM2, MCM7 and MCM5), which are essential for initiation of eukaryotic genome replication and of the major tumor progression and cellular pathway regulated by the MYC proto-oncogene (e.g. IPO4, MPP10 and MRT4).
