PPARG and TGFBR2 (3p26.3–3p14.2), BRCA2, and KLF5 (13q12.11–13q31.1) are linked to many pathological conditions, including cancer; MLH1 and BAP1, whose loss of expression is correlated with microsatellite instability in colorectal cancer and breast cancer, respectively; and finally, NF1 (17p13.3–17q11.2) related to type 1 neurofibromatosis [37,38]. Here, PPARG is linked to cancer.
