SETD3 and cancer: The overexpression of SETD3 was recently reported to be associated with malignant cancer (Cheng et al., 2017), so the high-resolution complex structures of SETD3 might be helpful in providing a better understanding of the role of actin histidine methylation in human cancer, as well as in providing a structural basis for the design of specific SETD3 inhibitors in the near future.
