FCGR2B and neoplasm: More recently, using a BCL1 murine lymphoma model, Dahal et al. [28] were able to show that the lymphoma created a tumour suppressive microenvironment that had an adverse effect on anti-CD20 antibody directed treatment that was due, at least partially, to an increase in the expression level of inhibitory FcγRIIB on tumour associated macrophages (TAM).
