High expression of KIF20A results poor prognosis in glioma patients (Duan et al., 2016; Saito et al., 2017), nasopharyngeal cancer (Liu et al., 2017), hepatocellular carcinoma (Shi et al., 2016), melanoma (Yamashita et al., 2012) and early-stage cervical squamous cell carcinoma (Zhang et al., 2016). This evidence concerns the gene KIF20A and cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
