MET and neoplasm: c‐Met, activated MET oncoprotein, has been identified to play a critical role in tumourigenesis and tumour metastasis including OS.24 c‐Met is highly expressed in OS tissues and facilitates OS cell proliferation, migration and invasion.25, 26 Previous studies have reported that c‐Met is regulated by several miRNAs in OS including miR‐613,27 miR‐45428 and miR‐34a.29 Notably, our study reported for the first time that miR‐876‐5p was implicated in the posttranscriptional regulation of c‐Met in OS.
