[11–13] Three novel autoantibodies, anti-salivary gland protein 1 (SP1), anti-carbonic anhydrase 6 (CA6), and anti-parotid secretory protein (PSP), have been suggested as useful markers to identify patients who are in the early stages of SS and perhaps with negative traditional antibodies [14, 15]. This evidence concerns the gene SP1 and synovial sarcoma.
