In agreement with our analysis, Farabaugh et al. found that higher expression of EYA2 was associated with worse RFS, MFS, and disease-specific survival (DSS) among 295 patients with invasive breast cancer (45), and high expression of both SIX1 and EYA2 represent the type with the worst RFS, MFS, and DSS in comparison with another three types including SIX1low/EYA2low (with the best prognosis), SIX1high/EYA2low and SIX1low/EYA2high (45). This evidence concerns the gene SIX1 and invasive breast carcinoma.
