BRD4 and acute myeloid leukemia: Chen et al. (33) showed that BRD4 inhibition induced differentiation and death of IDH2 mutated AML, whereas Dawson et al (34) reported a role for NPM1 mutation in the induction of a BRD4 transcriptional program and that BET inhibition restored the NPM1 nuclear localization and abrogated the BRD4-induced oncogenic transcriptional program.
