Importantly, some immune-related genes were also found significantly differentially expressed and enriched in these bacterial infection associated pathways, such as TLR8, LBP and SPP1 in toll-like receptor signaling pathway, HSP70 and CD8A in antigen processing and presentation, CXCL9, CXCL10, CCR5 and CCL17 in chemokine signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene CCR5 and bacterial infectious disease.
