Nevertheless, when adjusted for the other peripheral blood cell populations, the percentage of CD8+ was significantly associated with higher chances of having HP (OR = 1.03 per 1% increase; 95%CI = 1.00–1.05; p = 0.025), while the percentage of NKT cells was significantly associated with higher chances of having sarcoidosis (OR = 1.07 per 1% increase; 95%CI = 1.01–1.13; p = 0.032). Here, CD8A is linked to sarcoidosis.
