In a review of gluten sensitivity by Hadjivassiliou et al. (2010) [11], many studies reported that a high proportion of patients with sporadic ataxias (12%–47%) tested positive for AGA compared with 2%–12% of healthy controls [11,38,39,40,41,42,43,44,45,46,47,48]. This evidence concerns the gene AGA and cerebellar ataxia.
