Using reverse-transcription, followed by nested polymerase chain reaction (RT-nested-PCR), a shortest isoform (around 250-bp marker) among the various TSG101 isoforms was most frequently observed besides the full-length TSG101 transcripts in almost half of the NPC tissues (18 of 38 cases; 30 cases are shown in Figure 1A). Here, TSG101 is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
