We performed a meta-analysis to assess the association of WNT6, SNAI3, and CD83 expression with lung cancer patient prognosis, and found that WNT6 and SNAI3, which were downregulated with PRSS3 and KLK5 knockdown (Fig. 6c,d), were both found to be associated with better prognosis for LAC patients with lower expression of these genes (Supplemental Fig. 5), while CD83, which was upregulated with PRSS3 and KLK5 knockdown (Fig. 6e), was found to be associated with better prognosis for LAC patients with higher expression of this gene (Supplemental Fig. 6). Here, PRSS3 is linked to lung carcinoma.
