Given the reported importance of the balance between ORAI3/ORAI1, in the context of a more proliferative phenotype in prostate cancer cells [26], and our identification that some basal breast cancers had high ORAI3 but low ORAI1 levels (Figure 1A), we compared RFS in breast cancers with high ORAI3/low ORAI1 with other breast cancers. The gene discussed is ORAI1; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
