To assess whether SLFN11 influences IFN-γ- and DDA-induced cell death in a parallel manner in different cell systems, we generated SLFN11 KD variants of the prostate cancer cell line DU145 and the melanoma cell line WM2446, chosen because of their high levels of SLFN11 expression. This evidence concerns the gene SLFN11 and prostate carcinoma.
