Similar to the results of our study, RBP serine and arginine rich splicing factor 1 (SRSF1) increases the stability of the DNA repair gene DNA ligase 1 (LIG1) mRNA in non-small cell lung cancer and enhances its expression in a mTOR-dependent manner, thereby promoting the proliferation of non-small cell lung cancer cells and attenuated the apoptosis [28]. Here, SRSF1 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
