Lin-28 homolog B (LIN28B) protein binds and allows translation of AKT serine/threonine kinase 2 (AKT2) mRNA in ovarian cancer to inhibit apoptosis of ovarian cancer cells via AKT2/FOXO3A/BIM axis [32]; LIN28B also promotes proliferation and migration of high-grade serous ovarian cancer by binding to NEAT1 and enhancing its stability [33]. This evidence concerns the gene NEK4 and ovarian carcinoma.
