The stratification of patients according to tumor staging, grading and invasiveness revealed that IL6 expression was found up-regulated in stage III/IV compared to stage I/II (****P < 0.0001), in high grade compared to low grade (****P < 0.0001) and in invasive compared to superficial bladder cancer (****P < 0.0001) (Fig. 5a-c). This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and neoplasm.
