CD8A and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Although it has been shown in ovarian- and breast cancer that CD8+ T cells usually mean a better outcome [50], in lung AC the results were controversial: in stage IV NSCLC patients undergoing chemotherapy, CD8+ T cells also correlated with a better prognosis [51], but some other studies suggested no influence of CD8+ T cells on NSCLC survival whatsoever [52,53].
