As can be observed, age (p<0.001), BMI (p<0.004), waist circumference (p<0.001), hypertension (p<0.005), serum CRP concentrations (p<0.04) and HOMA-IR (p<0.004) were higher in psoriasis patients with femoral and/or carotid plaques than in those with no atherosclerotic plaque. Here, CRP is linked to psoriasis.
