The majority of the animals with steatosis (87.5%) had maximal GRP94 levels in culture at the lower 50th percentile as opposed to only 12.5% of the animals that developed steatosis and had maximal GRP94 at the higher 50th percentile (P=0.0027, chi-square test) (Fig. 6C). The gene discussed is HSP90B1; the disease is steatosis.
