The frequency of hypertension (p = 0.041), C-reactive protein level (p = 0.037), total premature atrial contractions (PAC) (p < 0.001), atrial run count (p < 0.001), and PACs/total heart rate (p < 0.001) in patients with infarcts in multiple vascular territories were found to be significantly higher than in patients with infarcts in the single vascular territory (p < 0.001). Here, CRP is linked to hypertensive disorder.
