McCormick et al. observed that mouse lymphoma cells that fail to mount GRP94 stress response are more susceptible to the inhibitor of Ca2+ uptake into the ER, thapsigargin (TG) [31]; interestingly, the inhibition of GRP94 stress response did not enhance the cytotoxicity of the inhibitor of N-linked glycosylation, tunicamycin (TN) [32].
