Consistently in TB patients, IFN-γ treatment significantly increased 14 ISGs (DDX60, IFI27, IFIT1, IFITM1, IRF7, ISG15, LY6E, melanoma Differentiation-Associated protein 5 (MDA5), MX1, Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT), OASL, PML, RTP4, and STAT1). Here, ISG15 is linked to tuberculosis.
