To determine whether GOT2 could serve as a potential molecular biomarker for cancer treatment, we used CellMiner, a web‐based suite of bioinformatics tools designed to explore the drug activity in the NCI‐60 cell lines (Wang et al., 2016b) to mine the significantly associated drugs related to the transcription level of GOT2. CellMiner tools allow rapid data retrieval of transcripts for 22 379 genes, 92 proteins and 360 microRNA along with activity reports for more than 20 503 chemical compounds, which include 102 drugs approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This evidence concerns the gene GOT2 and cancer.
