Tumour cell proliferation in xenograft tumours was significantly decreased, as revealed by IHC for Ki67 (AGS‐RN181 versus AGS‐RV, p < 0.05), whereas tumour cell apoptosis was significantly increased, as demonstrated by anti‐activated caspase 3 staining (AGS‐RN181 versus AGS‐RV, p < 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene CASP3 and neoplasm.
