In the present study, we showed for the first time a potential role of PRMT5 in promoting bladder cancer cell proliferation and tumor growth in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, PRMT5 promotes NF-κB recruitment on the promoter of anti-apoptotic targets BCLXL and c-IAP1. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
