Interestingly, many of the most significant pathways are indeed relevant to cancer mechanisms, such as cell cycle, DNA damage, apoptosis, P53 activation, and translational process with CFTR etc. In contrast, many least significant pathways tend to be defined for other conditions (i.e. asthma, diabetes, cardiovascular) or biological processes (i.e. nicotine regulation, neurophysiological process). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and cancer.
