ACE and hypertensive disorder: Compared to patients not treated with statin, those treated with statin were older and included more men; had a higher incidence of hypertension or diabetes mellitus; had a higher admission rate from the emergency room; and were more likely to take aspirin, a calcium-channel blocker, nitrate, nicorandil, trimetazidine, an ACE inhibitor, or an angiotensin receptor blocker.
